Basler and Syslogic are expanding their partnership to combine Basler's ace 2 GMSL cameras with Syslogic's rugged industrial computers for machine vision and edge AI applications. The joint hardware platform targets autonomous mobile robots, agricultural vehicles, construction equipment, and intelligent transportation systems. The GMSL2 interface supports coaxial cable runs up to 15 meters with low latency, while Syslogic's computers can connect up to eight cameras plus LiDAR, radar, and GNSS sensors. Integrated Nvidia Jetson modules handle on-device AI inference and deep learning, and the ruggedized systems are built to withstand shock, vibration, dust, moisture, and wide temperature ranges. The solution is now available for evaluation and integration projects.
